seems like foooorever!

well i havent posted for agggges!! thats cause i am doing a guest design spot at Just Scrapbooking n have been working on 4 singles, n 2 doubles. have finished them all now n might share these soon. They gave me the lovely Seaside collection from Kaiser n OUt n About by WRMK.....

Anyways thought I would do a page for the new challenge site Show Us Your Stuff (SUYS). The #2 challenge is about:
DECEMBER CHALLENGE: REFLECTIONS
I want you to do a layout reflecting on 2010. Did you achieve any goals?, What were the highs or lows?, Did one moment stand out?, or did you have any lifechanging moments?

The best thing to happen to me in 2010 was my first baby being born. He has filled my life with soooo much happiness n r so grateful for this. He truely is a precious gift.

I have used Websters Pages - Wonderfall papers, Bazzill, Prima flowers, Florish with a bling, doilies, pink paislee artisian elements, sassafras n OA alphas, prima masks n stamp, tattered angels glimmermist n chalkboard mist, n heaps of tim holtz distress ink in old paper n frayed burlap, oh yeh n couture creation gemstones
Handmade Item = My spiral flowers!! inked n then sprayed with chalkboard hot chocolate mist!
wow lots of things used. man - this page is covered in so much mists it literally shimmers.... so lovely!! hehe

yay! sooo happy to be featured as a Honorable Mention in Get Picky's sketch challenge #2!!! what a lovely surprise.

the LO came together nice n easy for me too, its what i really love to create, lotsa inking, distressing n a modern shabby sorta look. n i used up the leftovers of the crate paper restoration line i had remaining - even better!!

wow thanks to the girls at get picky for seeing something in my lo. cant wait to start the inspiration challenge!!

on a not so brighter note...... my lil baby has been up since midnight screaming!! poor lil fella, think hes teething tooth no. 9 at 9months!-- he had to sleep on my belly last night with a lot of screaming outbreaks every hour!! hmmm so feel like a zombie. lets hope today goes ok n can rest up a lil (well i mean do lotsa scrappin!!! hehe fun fun!!)

I have used Crate Paper restoration, 7 gypsies papers. Scrunched up dress pattern for background, misting, lace, lots of inking n distressing. maya road envelope, prima flower, maya road pin.

my fingertips r still brown on the ends.... hehe

went away camping on the weekend n had the bestest time!! although i should have taken way more pics.... oh well

this lo is for the handmade by suzanne sketch challenge for november. had it all figured before i left, just had to tape it down n add a few touches.

i have used a mixture of cosmo cricket n american craft... n actually a touch of sass. tissue paper, paint, a bit of echo park and a ton of doodling.

Get Picky INSPIRATION challenge

Wow love Get Picky!!!! the inspiration challenge was awesome!!! hmmm all those sweets...... YumYUM

I took my inspiration for my page from the lovely colours.... had to use a rainbow of colours, and thought I would use Sweet somewhere in my title and of course HAD to have a banner!! There were lots of different sweets so I thought lots must be going on in my layout!! haha.

Its not normally my style but hey... i had sooo much fun putting it together!

The pic is of my lil boy eating his fav...... chocolate custard!!! he cant get enough of it! hehe

Stuck?! 1st November Sketch challenge

hey ya all!!!

well i have been a way bit slack lately.... scrapping has been going through my mind but just needed to get down n find time to scrap.

I thought I would use the Stuck 1st Nov sketch to give me some inspiration. I have had these little quick snaps for ages. I love using pics which show the little moments in nathans life.

I have used American Crafts Dear Lizzy and Making Memories papers. Lots of hand-stitching (not sure what gave me the urge!!). Finally brought a xyron.... wow!! makes it so easy to stick the circles down!!! Maya rd envelope, thickers n lotsa doodling.
