Hey lovely followers!
I am still here.... just..... been meaning to do a blog post but my computer goes into meltdown every 2 secs! very frustrating and i am about to smash it!
This pregnancy is making my brain dead! I have a list of things to do and never seem to get anything done. Last Friday I had heaps to get through. They were all little things and I only achieved 1 thing on the list. Talk about disorganised chaos!! I also seem to be losing track of time.......... one of my relatives is having an operation soon and i got confused with the dates and thought it was Monday just gone but its not until later in September! lucky i was corrected before I went up to the hospital!! Can not wait for my brain to return to some sort of normality.
My hubby was watching me run round on Saturday morning trying to get everything packed for my first scrapbooking retreat. He then came out with this saying from The Renovators (not sure who watches it?) Proper preparation prevents poor performance ? I MUST remember this saying as it is soooo true. Most women prob would have decked their husband when they come out with this in the middle of running around getting things done but it was SO TRUE! He always says I leave things too much to the last minute. Unlike him who is OCD with everything.
The retreat was planned by Suzanne from Handmade from Suzanne and she did the best of job organising it at Fairbridge, Pinjarra Western Australia. Can not wait until her next one!!! Soooooo much fun & she had her full shop there too. Way too tempting. Her product range is fabbo & I did go a lil crazy buying a few things. But did only manage to finish 1 complete layout and 3/4 of a way through the next. Hmmm should have stopped talking to all the lovely ladies might have got more done. hehe.
Anyways I must let you know about the Get Picky inspiration for this month. This is my layout...... first time using the Glitz Design papers and loved the colours of this range.... very vintagey.
I masked with the new Pink Paislee mistables mask and also the Crafters Workshop cherry blossom mask with texture paste. & I love how this layout turned out.
and this is the inspiration - daffodils - I used a pop of yellow on my layout as inspiration and you will see some flowers too.
and EVERY person who enters this months inspiration challenge goes into the draw to win this FANTASTIC My Little Shoebox goodie pack...!!!
Well thats about all for now. Off to the specialist on Friday, wish me luck. Should be ok but am worried about hearing worse case scenarios. They just play on your mind......
