hey!
just wanted to share with you my layout for the November Prima BAP.
I havent played along with this challenge before so thought I would give it a go as I have had the Pixie Glenn collection sitting on my desk waiting to be used.
its the first layout of my lil girl n me just born. yes, not a good pic of me but i think the exhaustion is showing and the relief that the pain of labour is gone. i dont know why she had to come during the early morning?? but suppose that was when it was her time....
oh n i have no idea why it ended out the colours it did.... greens & musky pink... am i insane?? i have a girl n i could of gone PINK overload but i didnt.... hmmm note to self to use pink papers next time!!!
Sweet Love
And a BIG congrats to all who made it onto the Tattered Angels Design Team! I wished I had time to apply, maybe next year??? I would so love to be on their DT! ...........dreaming!!!!!! haha

Get Picky November Sketch - Manor House Creations Prize up for grabs!
well its been a rather busy couple of weeks for me with our new little baby.
our washing basket is now full of pink!
she is just adorable and sweet and loves to feed!
i must remember to take loads of pics because before you know it they have grown up and out of the newborn phase.
here is a pic i took the other day, so precious just sleeping.
thank you for all your warm congrats on the birth of April.
anyways onto the Get Picky sketch for November. This month Manor House Creations are sponsoring and are giving the winner 5 packs of their flowers!
I have never ever worked with only round shapes on my layout before and I have to admit it took me a while to put together but I really love how it turned out.
I have used a combination of Sass & Glitz papers and Prima flowers & dusty attic chipboard.

introducing...... April Rose
well feels like the last 4 days have been a whirlwind. i really am lost with time and am getting all the days confused and the reason being....... i am so pleased to let you all know of the birth of our precious daughter & sister April Rose born Saturday 5.22am weighing 8lb7oz.
Childbirth is such an amazing thing. One minute I can't wait to have this baby out then next thing I am trying to not think about the pain I am about to experience to push this baby out. It is worth every ounce of the pain but I am writing this here as a reminder to myself. haha. But saying that I never had an epidural just gas and was quite quick too. Went to hospital at 1am and she was born just after 5am.
As April was about to be born the song "I need a miracle" was playing in the labour ward on the radio.... how appropriate.
I can not wait to make a beautiful layout of her. Keep posted, hope to share something really soon.
