Hi lovely ladies (and men if reading....)
well what a fantastic holiday we have just had! we went and spent nearly a week down in Busselton with my family. We hired a villa in one of the resorts and just relaxed, played scrabble, ventured out to have a look at some new camping spots and swim. It was a perfect break away. Can not wait to do it again next year! oh, and not to mention the absolute PERFECT weather.
Now back at home and trying the catch up on the plethora chores etc.... fun fun not! and also putting our toddler nathan back into routine and out of 'spoilt' child syndrome. he got soooo much attention from his grandparents and uncle and auntie. (but thats normal, right?)
anyways I am back on board and have got an upcoming class at Made With Memories. I will be showing you how to create 3 backgrounds with the MME Funday range. I love this range of papers and you can use it with everything! I will also be showing you a few new techniques as well. You won't be leaving this class with clean fingers.... ! haha
The Details:
Background Secrets $55.00 (3 layout class)
Friday 27th January 6pm to 9pm
and one February (will confirm later in the month date & time)
all you Perth ladies please book in come along and have a few hours of fun and I can meet you as well!
here are a few sneaks of the pages....

Prima!!!
Hi!!! :)
here is my take on the latest BAP from Prima. I love Prima (dont we all???) and so had to join in. I have had these papers for a while (Botanical collection) and wanted to do another page with them. Looking at the page now, there really isnt much pp just lots of flowers. I have included some hidden journaling behind the photo too.
The photo is of my lil girl in her dads hands. I think she is about 12 hours old here. Just precious.

best-est fun ever!!! MME challenge #30
another post from me, i have been busy scrapping up a storm lately but just needed to photograph them... this one is for the MME challenge #30. i love their products and thought i would have a go.
i have really mixed the paper ranges up, i have used Alphabet Soup, Funday and Stella Rose papers and embellies and really distressed them (as this is my fav technique!)and love how it came up. all the papers seemed to mix really well together.
Love love love the Funday range. have used it as the background here and stamped with a brick stamp and splattered with glimmer glam and machine stitched around the edges. I have also used the Funday buttons.
so here it is....
the bestest fun ever!

just in time for ....sketchy thursdays 12.8 sketch......
hey!
forgot this challenge was a weekly one, its the sketchy thursdays. just only found out about this blog challenge! lucky its american based so i could still get it in on time!
loved the sketch and it suited my photos perfectly. i have been trying to scrap 'everyday photos' more which arent the best but really show the times spent with friends and family.
this one my lil boy n his friend hudson were playing at the park together for the 1st time. they r just gone 1 years old. they were more interested in the sand than playing on the equipment.
Play in the park:

Get Picky inspiration challenge
hey!
well the weather seems to have made a big change here in WA, we have just had hot hot sunny days and today it has got a touch cold and a thunderstorm is rolling in. oh n not to mention the earthquake felt this morning up in our north near Exmouth. well we didnt feel it down here in perth but still. crazy!
but on a good note this rain is perfect for our lawn as we just top-dressed it on friday. oh n our veggi patch will love it!
lets just hope we dont lose power! haha
anyways i have been scrapping a bit but need to photograph my layouts still. they are all pretty much "just because" layouts. I am very lucky to be on the Made With Memories DT and get wonderful products to play with so I must share these soon.
the inspiration over at Get Picky is to do with "Words" and telling a story.
I have used Kaiser Cock-a-doodle-doo papers for this layout and it is about my boy and the red car and the hat. Everytime we go to Playgroup he just wants to be in the car ALL THE TIME! it is crazy, you cant get him out of it! oh, n he loves putting things on his head and will play and hold whatever it is on at the same time.
