hey all you lovely people!!!

well another fortnight has been and gone and Get Picky have their new sketch up on the blog.

Its a great sketch and you should head on over and check out the inspiration from all the other girls on the DT!!! Their layouts are stunning!!

so here is my take on the sketch, when i first seen it i was a lil stumped but then got into it and LOVED it. it worked so well!!

I have used Glitz (LOVE!) pretty in pink papers and prima flower vine. Its just of me n my hubby, love him to bits. and love the Glitz transparency which i have used for my title.

Scrap for Help challenge - Nearly two.

hey hey!

before i start i want to direct your attention to my blog giveaway!!! i have made these AWESOME texture bundles! i love them, they are made up of my fave things!! all you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post here!!! i am nearly at my target of 100 followers, just need 6 more!! and then i will use random org to choose the winners and post these lil beauties out and i will post internationally too!!!

so onto the other stuff:

hope everyone is well, i have just been chilling all weekend as have been pretty sick - headaches, dizziness, nausea and before anyone comes to any conclusions, no i am not pregnant. just feel terrible! have been taking pretty strong pain killers to ease the pains but they just make me drowsy and tired and blah! but at least the throbbing is eased in my head so i can kinda function.

sooooo when i was feeling a lil k i decided to do a quick layout. i have noticed the challenge at Scrap for Help, i love using recycled materials on my layouts and love incorporating corrugated card on my layouts AND had this photo and vine and flowers and it all came together really quickly. OH AND these new papers i picked up from Made With Memories.... they are Little Yellow Bicycle - Saturdays!!! love love looooove!!!

here is my layout...its all about what will we nickname my lil girl.... cause her name is April n its hard to shorten. i dont really want her to be known as Apes..

Scrap the Girls feb challenge....

hey all!!!

for my giveaway please go here..... nearly there so please leave a comment on this post here!!! i love the lil bundles. they have been sitting on my shelf for a lil while now and its too temping those chuppa chups just sitting there!

well this layout has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now. better post it up as its neeeeearly the end of the month. loved this challenge!! cause i love blue and TURQUIOSE would be one of my fave colours. I have used A LOT of chipboard, all covered, or painted or glossy accent-ed. and I LOVE this little girl!! this layout is very dimensional. i have no idea how it will fit into a clear coversheet?? I have some hidden journalling too and used distress stains for colouring. gotta love the picket fence.... my fave!

hello!

well i CAN NOT believe it is February already! I am now 28..... and the years are seeming to fly right by. I remember being a young 18 year old like it was just yesterday and now a SAHM looking after my 2 beautiful children. you cant get any better? can you??

well i am sure most of you ladies will understand this...... (warning,,,, a lil boast) when you tell your husband, mum, family that you won a scrap challenge - they just DONT GET IT, my husband was like huh, oh really and my mum was 'oh which layout was that??? cant remember that one' haha!!! BUT i knew who would appreciate this was one of my lovely scrappy well not only scrappy friends but a my goodest friend... i texted her straight away and SHE GOT IT and i know all my scrappy followers will get it too!!!

here is the first... WOW WOW WOW!!! and 1st time playing along here at Scrap the Girls. I won the challenge for January the criteria was MONOCHROMATIC.... I have an awesome prize coming my way $40 worth of chipboard from 2Crafty! now thats a lot of chipboard. Can NOT WAIT to see the goodies Vanessa sends me. THANK YOU! here is the layout.....

WOW I am so happy and honoured to be featured here. there are so so so many amazing layouts!!!! but that colour scheme CSI#4 was all about my fav colours and also this layout is very special to me. So it must have shone through.

anyways (not sure if anyone knows of Carl Barron an Aussie comedian well was watching him the other night and its one of his things.... when we want to change subject or walk away from someone we all seem to go 'well ANYWAYS....' and thats our ticket out. I was in stitches watching him SO FUNNY and SO AUSSIE..... ) anyways....
Get Picky have their inspiration challenge up .... its all about scrapping your summer holiday pics and you must use at least 4 pics. Now, summer to me is the BEST season. Love it! so I decided to scrap some pics from our holiday last summer to Hopetoun. I have used 6 pics and have used one of my faves atm OA Farmhouse. Lots of layering here and simplicity.

my blogger has been driving me mad all day!!! not letting me upload pics so really hoping to squeeeeeze these in.


my first lo is for the kaisercraft saturday sketch #3. there is lots of fussy cutting here but looking at it in this pic doesnt show the layout off at all.... crazy but it is really dimensional irl.










and.... Scrap the Girls. My first time doing this challenge. its all about monochromatic. pretty sure i got it right. to me monochromatic is one colour but using the various tones of that colour? hope its right anyways. hehe. its of my lil princess. she is such a doll n in this pic she is just learning to chat away. :)
