thought i would try the studio challenge... all new to this site. you had to create a layout using frames.
so here is it....
i have used: Echo Park For the Record papers & stickers, prima flowers, hessian, corrugated cardboard, paint, purple pumkin flower, dymo labeller, thickers, hambly transparency and LOTS of Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut stain.
So i have framed my pics in photoshop, I also used a frame for the date and under that is a bigger frame for the embellie cluster, also framed my lil white flower on the left.

I recently was lucky enough to be one of the first five to reply to this post on none-other than Natalie Elphinstone blog, and cannot wait to get my goodies. As promised, I too will Pay It Forward to the first five people to reply to this.

as i type this i am watching the devestation on the news about the earthquake in christchurch. i hope they can rescue as many people as possible. it is so sad to see people in such a dire need. it looks as though a lot of people have been injured. we should be so grateful for all the emergency services and others who will work around the clock to help all these people.
thanks for having a squizz!! and for all the comments.
p.s. - i started bootcamp last week and found out today that we are actually training for a triathalon!!! ekkkk....... better get fit fast!!! !! haha

lucky I seen a reminder on the LGS site today - didnt realise this was due today.... it was all finished so all i had to do was take some pics!!!
this is my first time giving this challenge site a go. i love shabby type of things so i thought that I would create a mini wedding albulm as i never actually got my wedding photos put into an albulm. all i got from the photographer was the proofs and ALL the negatives and digital pics so thought it was about time i made up a wedding albulm nearly 7 years later!! it really was the perfect opportunity and i love what i have created. it was hard to pick what photos i wanted to include!
I made the calico pages myself and misted/masked each one using Tattered Angels Chalkboard mist. I have used Making Memories Jet'Adore collection papers - these papers are absolutely lovely!!!!
So here it is.... hope you like (as you will see it is photographed in my oragano and chives!! hehe)
its my being made redundant pressie!!!
I have some VERY VERY exciting news too.... just waiting for it to be annouced on their blog....

as prompted by nadia i thought i would join in too. havent posted any pics of my scrappin space EVER!
I share the study with my hubby, he has his desk n i have mine. we were lucky enough to find my desk in the paper which is nearly identical to the one we already had. it fits it purpose sooo well as it is soooo big!
like nadia i have to put everything back in its place before i can start a fresh layout. everything has its place whether it be out of an icecream or takeaway container. after i have done a layout my desk is an absolute mess not too mention the snowy looking carpet!!
so here it goes... ekkk!!! enjoy!!!
and here are a few lil gift tags i made the other day.......
have had on Dr Phil while typing this.... all about teen suicide n bullying! it is soooo sad how our kids go out to school and other places and have to deal with this grief and pain. i hope my lil boy grows up to be nice to everybody and if he does get bullied he can talk to me about it. i feel for all the kids who have to go through this struggle. it must break their parents hearts knowing this is happening.
there is an awesome giveaway over at Stuff to Scrap here is the link http://stuff2scrap.blogspot.com/2011/02/win-win-win.html

i havent posted much lately, but have been working on a few things which just need a lil finishing then i can post them up! I am going to a crop night on fri so will finish them there!!
First off have to have a lil brag.... hehe. I am so over the moon to have been featured as the Winner of the Get Picky sketch challenge #3! I love their challenges soooo much!!!! And THANK YOU for the lovely prize pack from the stamp spot!!
I have also been lucky enough to be a winner at Kraft It up and White With One for January!! wow! I am so honoured to be acknowledged by all you lovely ladies for my scrapbooking work. It means soooo much!! At least something good is happening to me, as pretty sure being made redundant from work on Friday. :(
Anyways onto the Get Picky Inspiration Challenge #4 - the inspiration was from the song Forever Young.... I chose to focus on the two lines May you grow up to be true & May you always know the truth. To be true means a lot to me as there are a lot of people who hid behind a persona and dont really know and be honest with themselves.
I have used: Bazzill cardstock, Sassa Papers, The Chip Chop Shop chipboard, twine & Fimo, Purple Pumpkin flower and buttons, Prima flowers, embroidered lace, And the cloud n heart I made myself from modelling clay, machine stitching.
Thank you so much for looking and leaving your lovely comments!!!
P.s. - dont u love the chip chop shop stuff!!! wow received my order yesterday and had to use them!!! the birdy in the cage is so precious. hehe
